Home > > Tailored Ceiling Design Meets Technical Excellence
As this nine-storey, 32,000m² data centre nears completion, GA Interiors continues to demonstrate its expertise in delivering tailored ceiling solutions within highly technical environments.
Designed to meet the demands of a complex, performance-led facility, the European oak ceiling introduces warmth and character to the interior, balancing refined aesthetics with strict technical requirements. This bespoke installation plays a key role in enhancing the overall quality of the space while maintaining full compliance with operational and safety standards.
The building has been designed to achieve BREEAM Excellent, reflecting a strong commitment to sustainability and environmental performance. Engineered for resilience, each floor is capable of delivering up to 4.4MW of power capacity, supporting the intensive operational needs of a modern data centre.
This project highlights GA Interiors’ ability to deliver high-quality, custom ceiling solutions across specialist sectors, including data centres, where precision, performance and design must work seamlessly together.
Home > > Mansard wall acoustic upgrade by GA Interiors
GA Interiors recently completed a mansard wall acoustic upgrade designed to significantly enhance sound insulation and overall acoustic performance within the space. The works were carefully planned and delivered to reduce both airborne and impact noise, creating a quieter and more comfortable internal environment.
Scope of Works
The project involved upgrading an existing hollow timber mansard wall using a fully decoupled acoustic system. This approach was selected to minimise vibration transfer and maximise sound absorption, ensuring a high-performing and compliant solution.
Construction Build-Up
The upgraded mansard wall was constructed using a multi-layered system specifically designed for superior acoustic performance. The build-up included:
- Two layers of 15mm Soundbloc F plasterboard installed as overboarding
- Counter battens to support the acoustic system
- Furring channels fixed on Isomax acoustic clips with rubber isolation to reduce vibration transfer
- 70mm Rockwool RW3 acoustic insulation
- Vapour control layer (VCL)
- Retention of the original construction, incorporating two layers of 15mm Soundbloc F plasterboard
This fully decoupled system works by absorbing sound energy and isolating structural vibrations, resulting in a substantial reduction in noise transmission.
Finish
The wall was completed with a tape and joint finish, providing a clean, seamless surface ready for final decoration.

Our big GA family got together this Christmas period – and that’s something worth acknowledging.
In a busy year filled with deadlines and responsibility, it was good to pause and spend time together outside the work itself.
Moments like these remind us that GA Interiors is built on people who support one another and move forward as a team.
Grateful for the time together and the collective effort behind another strong year.
Merry Christmas from all of us at GA Interiors.

Home > > Small Acts, Real Impact: Christmas Jumper Day at GA Interiors
The meaning of Christmas Jumper Day shifts from person to person.
At GA Interiors, our days are usually about structure and keeping things moving. But last Friday reminded us that even small acts of generosity still matter.
Many of our jumpers were bought late a night before, in moments of impulse rather than planning. Most impulse buys don’t last, but occasionally, one becomes a small win.
So we wear them. Not because they’re perfect, but because they represent the choice to do something good, even in the middle of busy, imperfect days.
We are happy to supporting Save the Children UK, a reminder that responsibility often starts with small actions.
Home > > Employee of the Year Awards: Recognising Excellence
Last Friday, we celebrated something truly meaningful, recognising the individuals who chose to step up, take responsibility, and go beyond what was asked of them.
Our Employee of the Year awards weren’t just trophies or bonuses; they were a reminder that excellence is built, day by day, through courage and discipline.
A huge congratulations to our winners.
And a heartfelt thank you to our CEO Svajunas(Younis) L MsC ,MCIOB(Younis) L MsC ,MCIOB, whose support and encouragement remind us that we grow strongest when we are trusted, challenged, and inspired to bring our best to the table.
Moments like this strengthen not only our team, but our shared purpose.
