SFS and Window Installation Contractor Appointed on £20m+ Affordable Housing Scheme

GA Interiors has been appointed as the SFS and window installation contractor on a new £20m+ affordable housing development in South East London. The scheme will provide almost 70 social rent and supported living homes across two blocks of four to five storeys, with a mansard roof and gabled dormers.

Our scope

• Design, supply and install of the SFS system, with full design responsibility, as-built drawings and warranty
• 2,800+ m² of 100mm SFS infill, including mansard raked walls and dormers, plus 440+ m² of 200mm battered walls
• Sheathing boards, fire-rated EPDM to slab edges, and window and door support plates
• Installation of 250+ windows and doors

One team for SFS and windows

The window opening is where most envelope defects start. With one team building the frame and fitting the window, the main contractor gets a single point of accountability, fewer interfaces and a faster envelope for follow-on trades.

Combined packages we deliver

• SFS + Window Installation
• SFS + Drylining, Partitions & Suspended Ceilings
• Full Internal Fit Out
• Fire Stopping & Passive Fire Protection
• External Render
• Remediation, including higher-risk buildings (HRBs)
