Delivering a Complete Drylining and Interior Fit-Out Package for a Multi-Level Leisure Centre

GA Interiors successfully delivered the specialist drylining and internal fit-out package for a new multi-level leisure centre, providing high-quality partition systems, ceilings, plastering and passive fire protection throughout the development.

Working alongside the main contractor, our team completed the project to programme while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship, safety and technical compliance. From pre-construction planning through to practical completion, we collaborated closely with the project team to ensure efficient delivery across every phase of the build.

Scope of Works

GA Interiors delivered a comprehensive internal package, including:

  • Metal stud partition systems
  • Drylining and plasterboard installations
  • Tape and jointing
  • Suspended ceiling systems
  • MF ceiling systems
  • Baffle Ceilings
  • Internal plastering
  • Passive fire protection
  • Fire stopping and compartmentation works
  • Fire-rated access hatches and bespoke pattress installations

All systems were installed in accordance with the relevant manufacturer specifications, achieving the required fire, acoustic and performance standards throughout the building.

Fire Compartmentation Expertise

As the project progressed, GA Interiors was appointed to undertake additional passive fire protection works, demonstrating our technical capability beyond traditional drylining.

Our fire protection package included fire batt installations with 30, 60 and 90-minute fire ratings, service penetration sealing, deflection head detailing and compartmentation works designed to maintain the building’s fire integrity.

To support efficient project delivery, our commercial team developed a detailed schedule of rates for each firestopping element, providing complete transparency for the main contractor’s quantity surveying team and enabling variations to be valued and approved quickly.
