Project overview
Brockham Offices is a modern grade A detached office building on a well established business park close to Dorking, a market town at the junction of the A25 and A24 between Guildford and Reigate.
The site is around six miles from junction 9 of the M25, midway between Heathrow and Gatwick, and the town’s three railway stations serve central London, London Bridge, London Waterloo and Gatwick Airport. GA Interiors delivered the interior package for fit-out contractor Area Squared.

Project overview
Pier House sits on Strand on the Green in Chiswick, on the north bank of the Thames near Kew Bridge. The building dates from the early 20th century and was a laundry until it was converted into offices in the 1980s, in a scheme that kept the original Georgian-style façade.
GA Interiors worked on the building in 2019 for main contractor Thomas Sinden.

Project overview
A House for Artists is a new model for affordable, sustainable housing tied to long-term civic engagement, built for the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham in Barking town centre. The first of its kind in the UK, it provides flexible living space for twelve artists and their families on social rent, with studio workspaces, a ground floor community space and a shared working yard that can be opened to the public.
The five-storey building combines a public community arts space, 12 new homes and an artists’ workshop. GA Interiors Ltd worked for main contractor J. Murphy & Sons Limited under a JCT Design and Build sub-contract signed in January 2021.
Our scope
The sub-contract covered partitions, drylining, ceilings and screed, including the gallery areas, alongside a wider finishing package:

Fordbridge Fire Station, Ashford

Project overview
Fordbridge Fire Station is a new-build fire station on the A308 Kingston Road in Ashford, on the western edge of London. The building was designed to be contemporary and efficient, with training facilities that meet the needs of today’s firefighters.
GA Interiors Ltd worked for principal contractor Lakehouse Contracts on the internal drylining and ceilings package, starting on site in early 2018.
Our scope
GA Interiors installed the internal wall and ceiling systems throughout the station:
- Metal stud partition systems with insulation
- Wall linings
- Suspended plasterboard ceiling systems
- Tape and joint finish to walls and ceilings
- Plastering
The works used mainly proprietary British Gypsum and Knauf systems, installed from mobile towers and podium steps by PASMA-trained operatives.
Temple End Vets, Stokenchurch
The conversion of an open-plan office into a veterinary hospital for Temple End Vets in Stokenchurch, where GA Interiors delivered partitions, ceilings, skimming and fire stopping for LIFE Build.

Project overview
GA Interiors Ltd worked with LIFE Build Solutions Ltd to convert an open-plan office unit at Stokenchurch Business Park into a new veterinary hospital for Temple End Vets. The sub-contract was let under the JCT Intermediate Form with Contractor’s Design 2016.
The hospital, now fully operational, is equipped with laboratory analysers, digital radiography and ultrasound. It includes a dedicated orthopaedic theatre for fracture and knee surgery, two soft tissue operating theatres and a specialist dentistry suite. Separate waiting areas for dogs and cats and species-specific wards for overnight stays help keep patients calm.
Our scope
GA Interiors delivered the ceilings and partitions package, including skimming:
- Internal stud partitions and drylining
- Closing of partitions with insulation, tape and joint and skim finish
- MF and suspended ceilings
- Fire stopping
Works were programmed in three stages from January 2023: internal partitions, then closing and skimming, then suspended ceilings, each sequenced with the LIFE Build site manager.
Challenges and solutions
- Live services: some existing services in the former office were retained, so all work around them was checked before starting.
- Limited space: storage within the work areas was restricted, so all deliveries were confirmed in advance with LIFE Build, with 48 hours’ notice for large loads.
Outcome
The clinic is now open and treating patients, giving Temple End Vets a purpose-built hospital with theatres, diagnostics and wards under one roof.
