At GA Interiors, we provide specialist fire stopping and passive fire protection solutions for commercial, residential, healthcare, hospitality, and high-rise developments across London, Kent and the wider UK.
Fire stopping is a critical element of building safety, designed to maintain fire compartmentation and prevent the spread of fire and smoke through walls, floors, service penetrations, and construction interfaces. Correctly installed passive fire protection systems help buildings perform as designed, protecting occupants and supporting compliance with current fire safety requirements.
Our key management team recently completed Quelfire Firestopping Overview & Installation Training, delivered by Adrian Paynter, strengthening our technical knowledge of fire stopping systems, installation standards, and best practice requirements.
As a FIRAS-accredited fire stopping contractor, GA Interiors is committed to delivering high-quality, compliant solutions backed by industry-approved training and robust installation procedures. Our experienced teams work closely with main contractors, developers, and construction partners to deliver reliable fire stopping packages as part of wider interior fit-out and building safety works.
Our passive fire protection capabilities include:
• Fire stopping to service penetrations and building interfaces
• Fire-rated sealing systems and compartmentation works
• Passive fire protection solutions for residential and commercial projects
• Integration with drylining, partitions, ceilings and internal fit-out packages
• Compliance-focused installation delivered by trained specialists
With extensive experience delivering drylining, partitions, ceilings and fire protection works, GA Interiors supports Tier 1 contractors and developers with a complete internal fit-out approach from early construction stages through to completion.
Based in Kent and operating throughout London and the South East, we are ready to support upcoming fire stopping and passive fire protection packages.

Home > > Social Value in Construction: Why Community Is Core to How We Build
We believe a construction company’s value isn’t measured by projects delivered alone – it’s measured by the impact left behind in the communities we work in. Being part of the community is one of our foremost company values, and it shapes how we operate on every contract, every site, and every partnership.
For the Tier 1 contractors and main contractors we work alongside, social value is no longer a “nice to have.” It’s a core evaluation criterion in tender scoring, often measured against the National TOMs (Themes, Outcomes and Measures) Framework – the industry standard covering jobs, local growth, community wellbeing, environment, and innovation. As a subcontractor, demonstrating genuine, ongoing community engagement helps our partners meet their own social value commitments, not just tick a compliance box.
Investing in the Next Generation of Construction Talent
The construction industry faces a well-documented skills gap, with the sector needing hundreds of thousands of new qualified workers over the next decade. Closing that gap starts long before an apprenticeship application – it starts in the classroom.
That’s why GA Interiors is heavily involved in school and career events throughout the year. Our team speaks directly with students about life in construction and interior fit-out, offering honest, first-hand knowledge of the career paths available – from apprenticeships and trades to design, project management, and site supervision. We help demystify the industry for young people who may never have considered construction as a career, and we give teachers and careers advisors a genuine point of contact within the trade.
This isn’t a one-off CSR gesture. It’s a recurring commitment that feeds our own pipeline of future talent while contributing to the wider industry’s efforts to attract new entrants.
A Dedicated STEM Ambassador
To formalise and strengthen this commitment, GA Interiors has a team member registered as a STEM Ambassador through the construction industry’s ambassador network. Our STEM ambassador acts as a direct link between our business and schools, colleges, and career events – sharing real project experience, answering student questions, and championing construction as a rewarding, skilled, and future-proof career choice.
Having a STEM ambassador on the team means our community engagement is structured, consistent, and aligned with recognised industry outreach programmes – giving our contractor partners confidence that our social value contribution is credible and measurable, not just promotional.
Why This Matters to Our Contractor Partners
When Tier 1 contractors assess subcontractors and supply chain partners, community engagement and social value delivery increasingly influence procurement decisions. By partnering with GA Interiors, contractors gain a supply chain partner who:
- Actively contributes to local skills and employment outcomes
- Supports school and career engagement that can be reported against social value frameworks
- Provides a named STEM ambassador for outreach activity and reporting
- Treats community involvement as a genuine company value, not a tender-time add-on
Building Beyond the Site
For GA Interiors, being part of the community isn’t a marketing line — it’s a value that shows up in classrooms, career fairs, and conversations with the next generation of construction professionals. As the industry works to close its skills gap and deliver stronger social value, we’re proud to be doing our part, one student and one site at a time.

Alcohol Awareness Week: Leading by Example – Our CEO’s Journey Towards a Healthier Life
Supporting Wellbeing Beyond the Workplace
At GA Interiors Ltd, we believe that building strong communities starts with looking after the people within them. As a company committed to integrity, wellbeing, and positive leadership, we recognise that our responsibility extends far beyond the construction sites we work on.
This Alcohol Awareness Week, our CEO, Svajunas (Younis), has chosen to share a deeply personal story – one that reflects the importance of making positive lifestyle choices and encouraging open conversations about health and wellbeing.
One Decision That Changed Everything
Giving up alcohol completely was a personal decision for Younis, but the impact reached every part of his life.
What began as a simple choice soon led to unexpected benefits:
- Increased energy and motivation
- Greater mental clarity and focus
- Improved physical health
- Stronger relationships with family, friends, and colleagues
- A deeper appreciation for everyday life
His experience serves as a reminder that meaningful change doesn’t always come from adding something new. Sometimes, the greatest transformation begins with choosing to let something go.
The Conversation That Matters
This year’s Alcohol Awareness Week encourages people to reflect on one important question:
“What role does alcohol really play in my life?”
There is no judgement in asking this question – only an opportunity for honest reflection.
If Younis’s story inspires even one person to pause, think, or begin a conversation about their own wellbeing, then sharing it has already made a positive difference.
Creating a Positive Workplace Culture
At GA Interiors Ltd, we understand that health and wellbeing are essential to both personal happiness and professional success.
The construction industry can be demanding, making it more important than ever to foster an environment where people feel supported, respected, and encouraged to prioritise their physical and mental wellbeing.
By promoting awareness initiatives such as Alcohol Awareness Week, we hope to help remove stigma, encourage open conversations, and remind our teams that looking after themselves is just as important as delivering exceptional work.
Living Our Company Values
Our values are built around more than delivering high-quality interior fit-out and drylining solutions. They are about people.
Whether supporting local charities, investing in apprenticeships, sponsoring grassroots sports, fundraising for community organisations, or promoting wellbeing initiatives, we are committed to creating a lasting positive impact wherever we work.
Leadership is about setting an example, and Younis’s willingness to share his own journey demonstrates the openness, honesty, and compassion that define our culture.
Making a Positive Impact Together
Alcohol Awareness Week reminds us that small decisions can lead to life-changing outcomes.
At GA Interiors Ltd, we are proud to support conversations that encourage healthier choices, stronger communities, and better wellbeing for everyone.
If this story prompts you to reflect, start a conversation, or support someone around you, then together we are helping create a healthier future – both inside and outside the workplace.
